Swifties, we have big news for you! After a lot wishful thinking and manifesting to the great beyond, we can say that we may finally get another glimpse of the Billboard Music Award winner with a rumoured Eras Tour to Australia.
The speculation comes after Shameless podcast and DeuxMoi released news from an anonymous informant of the singer’s upcoming Australian shows, though no firm dates were released.
Identifying themselves as an employee of the MCG, the anonymous user loaded a selfie to the app with the caption: ‘Hush Hush but I work for the MCG and dates have been booked in for Taylor.’

The oracular gossip site, DeuxMoi, also hinted that the singer had booked the country’s biggest stadium, the MCG, for her tour.
While we can’t verify anything, at least DeuxMoi has been ‘occasionally’ right about these kinds of things before.
We’re crossing our fingers and toes at the Eros Tour coming to Australia, as footage from the show traversing across America right now is everything and more.
Swift shared the Eras Tour announcement with fans back in November 2022, “I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!).
“The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!”
The tour kicked off on March 18th in Glendale, Arizona, with the city temporarily renamed ‘Swift City’ in honour of the singer’s presence and will continue through to Los Angeles ending on May 8th.
If it’s true she’s bringing the show to Australia, we hope she makes a pit-stop for a show here in Adelaide.
While the pop-singer touched down in Adelaide in 2015 for 1989 Tour which sold around 20,000 tickets for both shows, she skipped our state during her Reputation tour in 2017.
As the most streamed artist in Australia, we hope the rumours are true and tour dates are imminent!
