Ok Adelaide Swifties, you may have missed out on Eras Tour tickets (or maybe you scored them – you lucky ducks), but instead of just travelling to Melbourne or Sydney, now you can travel to the other side of the world to hop on a Swift-themed cruise.
The Royal Caribbean and Marvelous Mouse Travels have come together to put together a cruise that will set sail from Miami the day after Taylor Swift’s final concert there in 2024, taking a literal boatload of her biggest fans on a four-night Bahamian adventure.
Travel agents Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera, and Shelby Reyes organized the fan-led cruise, which sets sail Oct. 21, 2024.
There’s a site dedicated to the cruise, which says the holiday will be all about making new friends, dressing up in nightly Eras Tour themes, trading T-swift friendship bracelets, doing Taylor themed karoke and trivia nights and enjoy everything the ship has to offer.
They were quick to point out that the all details are not yet confirmed and subject to change, plus that it’s a fan led by Marvelous Mouse Travels and not endorsed or affiliated with TASRM or Taylor Swift. So, chances are no Taylor Swift in the flesh travelling with you!
The ship will depart from Port of Miami and will head to Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s private island, on day two; Nassau, Bahamas, on day three; have a day at sea on the fourth day; and on the first day return to the Port of Miami.
There are three stateroom layouts that guests can book — interior, boardwalk balcony and oceanview balcony — though the second option was marked as sold out on the travel agent site, and concierge and suite staterooms are available upon request.
Currently, it says that there’s a waitlist for any option you want to secure (looks like this is worst that the Australian Eras Tour queue (sorry to disappoint you).
