Next week TeamVodafone drivers Craig Lowndes and Jaime Whincup will be making a pit stop of a different kind in the Adelaide Central Market to uncork their 2011 V8 Supercars campaign on Australian soil.
To mark their robust and full-bodied attack on the Adelaide racetrack ahead of Clipsal 500, Lowndes and Whincup will put their best ‘leadfoot’ forward in a challenge to stomp grapes in a race against the clock before unveliling the team’s limited edition red wine “Champion’s Drop” produced by acclaimed wine maker, Geoff Merrill (see label below).
To share the good drop with others, TeamVodafone is also auctioning five magnum bottles of “Champion’s Drop” on ebay, with all funds raised supporting the tireless efforts of the team’s charity of choice, Australian Red Cross. The auction will go live on www.teamvodafone.com.au/auctions on Wednesday, 16 March 2011.
