Teddy’s Dessert has announced the grand opening of their third store on Hindley Street today, Friday August 23rd, alongside the launch of their new venture, Teddy Mart. The American-style convenience store will feature a selection of trendy snacks and drinks, and the best part is, it’s located right next door to the new store, just beside UniSA’s West Campus.
“We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our third Teddy’s Dessert store on Hindley Street—the busiest street in Adelaide!” The team said in a post to Instagram. “Join us this Friday for an unforgettable day filled with excitement, sweet treats, and community celebration.”
To celebrate, the first 50 visitors who arrive at 6pm sharp will score a free acai bowl. Plus, there will be special guests and council representatives attending.

Teddy’s Dessert, which started out as a quirky, fun food truck dishing up inventive desserts, has quickly become a local sensation. It all began as a fun project in Owner Ahmad’s Year 12 business class. Now, this high school entrepreneur has launched a late-night dessert truck that’s serving up loaded desserts and the trendiest treats around Adelaide.
At Teddy’s Dessert, customers have been loving their soft serve acai bowls topped with granola, bananas, and strawberries, and flavours like Nutella, peanut butter, Bueno, pistachio, and Biscoff. The menu also includes loaded waffles and freshly made crepes, which you can customise with your choice of toppings.
Currently, Teddy’s Dessert has a spot in Salisbury, with their Blair Athol location undergoing renovations. The new Hindley Street store will be their latest addition, offering a fresh and fun experience packed with unique treats you won’t find anywhere else. Join in on the celebrations tonight at 6pm on Hindley Street and enjoy some of Adelaide’s best acai.
