Tell a story, get a free beer at Furphy’s pub tour in Adelaide

Ready for a night full of laughs and free beer? Furphy is bringing their national pub tour to the Alma Tavern next week!

Popular beer company Furphy is making their way to Adelaide next week with their Unearthing Unbelievable national pub tour, and there will be free beer!

Two Aussie legends with the gift of the gab, Novas 919’s own Ben & Liam are bringing the tour to Adelaide on Friday 23 April.  They’ll lead a stand-up open mic night and share never-before heard “Furphies,” which are what the brand like to call stories that are true but sound too outrageous.

The crowd is encouraged to share their best yarns. Those who participate will get a free drink, AKA Furphy for a “Furphy.”

The event will take place at the Alma Tavern on Magill Road.

No matter if you’re a seasoned storyteller or more of a spectator, join them for a Furphy Refreshing Ale from 7pm, with Ben and Liam taking to the stage from 8pm. Tall tales and big laughs guaranteed.

Those who aren’t able to attend the event don’t need to stress, they can watch it right from the comfort of their home via their Facebook page.

The details: April 23 with doors opening at 7pm at the Alma Tavern at 66 Magill Road.
