Between 27 August and 10 September essential maintenance work will be carried out on the Christian Brothers College and Prince Alfred College boat launch alongside the River Torrens.
In order to complete the work, the water level of the Lake will be lowered by 400 mm, however water activities will continue including Popeye, paddle-boats and recreational rowing.
Pedestrian access will also be restricted and those who usually travel along this part of the Torrens will be diverted to War Memorial Drive.
Work will be carried out between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Sunday and noise levels will be kept to a minimum where possible.
All users have been notified and as soon as the repairs have finished pedestrian access will be reinstated as normal.
The timely completion of this work is dependent on favourable weather conditions.
