An epic street party is shutting down Adelaide’s East End this weekend to celebrate the end of the thrilling four-day Adelaide Rally.

Kicking off the street party season, the Adelaide Rally East End Finale will turn Rundle Street, East Terrace, Vardon Avenue and Rymill park into a buzzing hub of wine, food and luxury cars this weekend.

As the race comes to a close, Adelaide’s East End will transform into an epic celebration of the Rally, jam-packed with tonnes of free family-friendly activities to enjoy. With close to 500 cars on display, racing simulators, boutique food and wine stalls by the beloved Vardon Avenue producers and a massive firework display to close out the evening, there is something for everyone at this weekend’s East End Finale.

Horsepower Crew All Stars Display

The talented team at Horsepower Crew will be putting on a show for the crowds at the East End Finale this Sunday, bringing out their All Star cars to line the streets of the Rundle Street and Rymill Park precinct. 

From modified performance show cars to the classic old school Aussie Muscle Cars, there will be a vast variety of vehicles exhibiting this weekend. Yet while there may be many differences on display, these cars all have one thing in common – plenty of horsepower! 

Luxury Car Display

Some of the most luxurious brands will be parking their cars at the East End Finale this weekend, showing off their sleek and stunning design models and high power engines. Marvel at vehicles from the likes of Aston Martin, McLaren, BMW and Audi Solitaire as you peruse through the close to 400 cars on display.

Podium Presentation

Champagne showers anyone? Celebrate the winners of the thrilling four-day race at the epic East End Finale podium presentation, with a massive inaugural prize pool of $25,000 to be awarded on the evening – including the $10,000 Adelaide Tourist Trophy for the highest placing interstate team.

Relive the glory alongside the winners as they celebrate their triumphs on stage, and watch the stars of the tarmac receive their trophies and cash prizes. Kicking off at 5:30pm, the podium presentation is the event you don’t want to miss.

Free Kid’s Activities

There’s plenty for the family to enjoy this weekend at the Adelaide Rally with tonnes of free kid’s activities on offer at the East End Finale. Try your luck (and speed) at the radio control car racing or the wicked PlayStation and Xbox games set up by Games2U Adelaide. There’s also slot car racing and several simulators for the young ones to try throughout the day. 

Racing simulator

Have you ever dreamed of being a Rally car driver yourself? Well, now’s your chance, with Rev It Up Racing setting up their racing simulator at the East End Finale. Immerse yourself in the thrill of the race as you whip around the track at adrenaline-raising speeds. Perfect for kids and adults alike, the free Rev It Up racing simulator is sure to keep the crowds entertained all afternoon.

Drone Racing

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a micro drone! Adelaide Micro Drones is hosting several epic drone races at the East End Finale this Sunday. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the micro-drones may be mini, but they garner enough speed to set the scene for a thrilling race. The high skill sport will see the drones navigate their way through rings and hoops and dodge targets as they race towards the finish line.

Vardon Avenue Food Festival

While the Adelaide Rally sees the state transform into a hub of speed and skill, the heart of the East End is set to transform into a vibrant food festival that is sure to tickle your taste buds. The Vardon Avenue Food Festival is back at the Finale this year, with producers like East End Cellars and Mother Vine dishing up delicious creations for you to indulge in. As the adrenaline rush from the race subsides, you’re sure to be left with a large appetite!

Live music

Bringing the beats this Sunday will be DJ Dan, drifting disco funk tunes throughout the East End locale. Enjoy listening to plenty of chilled house music as you set out on an afternoon of jam-packed Finale activities.


Try the wines that the East End is known and loved for on the wicked Sunday afternoon, with several popular Vardon Avenue bars opening their doors to guests of the Finale. Attendees can expect the usual suspects to be pouring crisp, fresh tipples of wine from the cellars of Mother Vine, Nola and more. The ever-popular East End Cellars will also be setting up a pop-up bar in Rymill Park, allowing guests to meander through the star-studded line-up of cars, glass in hand.


End the evening on a bang with an epic firework display by Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics. The skies of Adelaide’s East End will come alive with glittering shades of gold, red and blue, as the fireworks bring the Finale fun to a close. The dazzling display will be firing up at 8:30pm, marking the end of the thrilling four-day Shannons Adelaide Rally.

The East End Finale kicks off at 2:30pm this Sunday, taking over Adelaide’s East End until late.
