Tennis SA State League All Stars set to hit the Riverland

The state’s highest level competition will visit regional South Australia for the second time with 8 Tennis SA State League players joining 6 local players.

Tennis SA has today announced the return of the Tennis SA State League All Stars, set to launch the 2022/23 Tennis SA State League season. 

The state’s highest level competition will visit regional South Australia for the second time, following the highly successful inaugural event held in Port Lincoln, Eyre Peninsula in 2021.

Eight Tennis SA State League players will join six local tennis players to make two teams for the match. Tennis SA CEO Debbie Sterrey is excited to see the Tennis SA State League visit regional South Australia. “We are thrilled to be taking the Tennis SA State League All Stars on the road again, this time to the Riverland,” Sterrey said. 

“Feedback from last year’s inaugural All Stars was extremely positive and the event in Port Lincoln exceeded all expectations. 

“We can’t wait to build on this success in the Riverland and hope to see the local community come along in full force to celebrate tennis in their region.” 

The schedule of events will be announced later this month, with players to be announced in September. 

Tennis SA, in conjunction with the Renmark Paringa Council and Riverland Tennis Association, will host the event in Renmark on Saturday 8 October 2022. 

Th event will be held at the Renmark Tintra Lawn Tennis Club, Renmark.
