Tessa Waters Is The Heart And Soul Of Comedy At The Adelaide Fringe

A little bit stand-up, a little bit slapstick and a little bit lovely, Tessa Waters returns to Adelaide in 2012 for the premier season of her new solo offering – a poignant and entertaining exploration of the truly important things in life.

Narrated through dance, clowning and stand-up comedy, Waters will delve into her awkward and colourful past to share her experiences of finding happiness and contentment in a world where we seem to have lost sight of attaining this simple goal.

From playing a bumblebee in the back row of Miss Kate’s Dance Academy, over-dramatic acting school dramas, falling in love with that cool guy at school, to stepping out in black vinyl pants and foxtrotting in the kitchen, A little bit of standing up and a little bit of falling down is a show about learning to laugh at yourself.

With her inspiring new show the critically and popularly acclaimed star of How to be a Lady and Sexytime! is set to build on her reputation for creating quality comedy with heart and soul.
