The ‘H’ype over ‘H’ by Felici

Famous faces and fancy dresses were found gathered together last Friday night to celebrate the launch of Burnside Village’s new restaurant, ‘H’ by Felici. Owners and directors, Houssam and Hatem Abiad put on quite the show, entertaining a guest list of over 900. Some of the famous faces of the night were Mark Holden (Australian singer and former Australian Idol judge), Leigh Sexton (one of the winners of the 2012 series, My Kitchen Rules), and Vlad Lalic (from the series Please Marry My Boy).

A gorgeous black and white dress was designed especially for the night by one of South Australia’s leading fashion designer, Cristina Tridente. The unique strapless gown was appropriately layered with hundreds of paper ‘H’ bags from waistline down. ‘H’ by Felici partnered with the Hilton Adelaide to raise funds for Autsim SA. Additionally they were joined by the Autism Awareness Angels to promote a raffle on the night to raise funds for the charity.

Guests were served gourmet h’orderves from the new menu by Paul Wood and enjoyed delicious beverages from The Hills Cider Company, McLaren Vale Beer Company and the prestigious Longview Wines. The night was opened with a speech made by the Honourable Christopher Pyne followed with entertainment by MC Nathan Strempel (media personality and former Big Brother contestant) followed by some exotic belly dancing.

This glamorous black and white themed event concluded with a positive outlook for the new restaurant which is now open for dining. ‘H’ by Felici is located at the Sydney Street side of Burnside Village. Co-owner, Houssam Abiad says "Hospitality is about a total experience, combining great food, comfortable surroundings and exclusive service" "…that’s why at H by Felici, the experience is everything!"
