The 3rd Annual Krush Klinic at Longview Vineyard

KrushDaring to re-invent the traditional Crush events held in the Adelaide Hills each year, Longview Vineyard owners Peter and Mark Saturno are again transforming their Macclesfield vineyard into a live art show, dance party, wine showcase and BBQ joint.

On January 27th 2013, 4 of Australia’s most exciting street artists will be creating massive canvasses of aerosol art over the course of 5 hours with the stunning Adelaide Hills vineyard as the backdrop.

Three judges from the art, wine and design world will then announce the winning piece which will become the label of Longview’s premium 2010 The Piece Shiraz.

This year Sydney graffiti legend Phibs, Mexican born master Peque, quirky darling of the young SA art world Tiff and underground Adelaide stalwart Stoops will battle for this coveted piece of real estate that has already won design awards around the globe.

Longview’s award winning wines will be showcased throughout the day and guests will have the first chance to buy pre-release bottles of 2009 The Piece Shiraz featuring the winning art from the 2012 event.

And yes, each wine comes in its own spray can gift box.

As always Longview presents top class DJs from around the country to create a soundscape that is impossible to sit still to. This year they’ve gone local and global. Troy Jellybean will be no stranger to Adelaide audiences with his eclectic journeys through the groove landscape and from Chicago, Greenskeepers DJ James Curd will be providing the “Low and Sweet” tunes that have made him famous worldwide.

And for the first time ever Longview will be serving up their own brand of American Style BBQ: Hill Country. Think slow cooked pork shoulder, ribs, jambalaya, three bean chilli, mac and cheese etc.

Three iconic Adelaide city pubs, The HWY, The Lion and The Colonist are offering Brekkie & Bus packages which book out early every year.

There is simply no other event on a vineyard like it anywhere in the world.
