Join acclaimed chef Clare Falzon in an exciting new Barossa venture, Staġuni. After having a successful soft launch in the past few weeks, the restaurant has now received its liquor license, allowing it to transition into its intended dining format and offerings.
Over the next few weeks, Staġuni will be gradually expanding its offerings to include a wider range of dining experiences. This includes a special set menu for Thursday dinners on the 12th and 19th of December, giving diners a taste of what’s to come. In the meantime, you can continue to enjoy the delicious “Barrio” (meaning “neighbourhood”) small plates menu during all other service times until the first week of January.

Lone Star Rib House & Brews – Monday December 9th
Lone Star Rib House & Brews are opening a new location in Christies Beach this week, marking the seventh addition to the Lone Star family in the region.
Located in the heart of the suburb, expect Lone Star’s renowned offerings including ribs, wings, and steaks. Known for its unique Texas-inspired menu, the restaurant also boasts an impressive bar selection that celebrates local Adelaide wines and craft beers.
To celebrate the opening, there will be a promotional offer of $10 Full-Size Chicken Schnitzel with Fries and Salad, available from the 10th to the 12th December.

Boomers – Tuesday December 10th
Christies Beach’s Boomers Bar is set to open this week with a new kitchen extension. Boomers Bar has been the ultimate beachside hangout since opening 18 months ago, oozing with groovy, retro, feel-good vibes. Now, the venue is raising the bar with the launch of Boomers Bar and Kitchen.
Starting this Tuesday, you’ll be able to swing by midday and enjoy fresh baguettes for lunch, followed by platters in the evening. With the bar opening at 3pm, everything comes together into one epic business – food, drinks, and good vibes all in one place.

Sunset Food and Wine – Thursday December 12th

Kangaroo Island is set to see the return of a beloved venue this week, with Sunset Food and Wine reopening on the 12th! After taking some time to refresh the dining experience, they’ll be back with an updated menu packed with the flavours guests have come to know and love.
Sunset Food and Wine first opened in 2016 to highlight the abundance of produce available exclusively on Kangaroo Island. The new summer menu showcases fresh KI seafood, honey from Kangaroo Island Ligurian Bee Co, Kangaroo Island Oats from Vivonne Bay, Lamb from various farmers and much more.

Tin Shed Distilling Co. – Friday December 13th
After much anticipation, Tin Shed Distilling Co. is opening its doors to the brand new Nairne distillery on December 13th, promising a unique experience that blends the art of distilling with delicious food, live music, and the stunning scenery of the Adelaide Hills.
Not only will the distillery have an immersive cellar door, but a team of hospitality experts have been brought in to ensure the experience of eating and drinking at Tin Shed is exceptional. The distillery door will be led by industry veterans Jaime Fraser, former manager of NOLA, Roman Tazhdynov, previously owner of Bibliotheca and Suzie Wong, and the kitchen will be led by head chef Anthony Albrice.

Bakers Delight – Friday December 13th
A brand new Bakers Delight is coming to The Grove shopping centre this Friday, bringing with it all your favourite baked goods, pastries and sweet treats. The shop will be located between Gramazio Foods and Serafina Boutique and opens on Friday the 13th!

St. Louis – Friday December 13th
For all the dessert lovers out there, a new St. Louis location is opening this week in Glenelg! Located on Jetty Road, the Gelateria will serve freshly made gelato daily, showcasing the artistry of traditional European-style gelato. Using local ingredients like Kangaroo Island honey and fruit from the Adelaide Central Market, the gelato is also a true taste of SA.
To celebrate the grand opening of the Glenelg Gelateria, St. Louis is giving away free gelato on Friday December 13th from 6pm to 8pm.
