The excitement doesn’t end with shopping and dining. On Sunday, 7th April, the Prospect markets take a thrilling turn with the arrival of @theprojectbreak mobile van, Adelaide’s only smash room experience.
For those with a sweet tooth, Kristy’s bakery, known as @backinthedaybakery, makes a much-anticipated return on Saturday, 6th April. Her stall, a haven of homemade delights ranging from biscuits and cakes to brownies, is a testament to the bakery’s prowess, with the lemon cake already earning legendary status among locals.
Adding to the weekend’s allure, @shoshostudio_ will be showcasing an exquisite collection of crocheted flower posies and bouquets on Sunday, 7th April. This is a perfect opportunity to admire and perhaps take home a piece of Peter’s handcrafted beauty.
Food enthusiasts have much to look forward to, with the markets serving as a gastronomic paradise. The introduction of Brava la Parrilla on both days brings a taste of exquisite grilled meats and the signature chimichurri sauce.

Looking for a market with over 70 traders under one roof, serving up fresh produce and great vibes? The Adelaide Central Market has it all, in fact, it’s one of the largest undercover fresh produce markets in the Southern Hemisphere, buzzing with life and colour all year round.
Adelaide Central Market offers a huge range of fresh food including fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, seafood, cheeses, bakery, smallgoods and health foods, along with some of Adelaide’s most popular cafes and eateries. The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market is a great place to wonder around and see what amazing produce South Australian growers and makers have to offer.
The market has grown considerably over the past 16 years and sees on average 3,500 shoppers attending every Sunday to shop with approximately 100 stallholders indoors and outdoors at our home site in the Adelaide Showground.
With everything from Fleurieu Milk with “real milk, how it used to taste” to Barossa Bagels with the majority of their bagels being vegan friendly and dairy free, to Gooseberry Hill Farm with organically grown flowers (they sell bouquets, vegetable and herb seedlings, fruiting plants and bulbs).
Aldinga Air Show

The Aldinga Air Show will have something for all the family including lots of aerial displays, static displays, free kids entertainment, market stalls, local wine, gin, beer and produce.

Cool down with a hand-crafted snow cone from The Melt: Down Under, or be inspired by the young and talented Alicia Hayes, a 16-year-old pilot showcasing her flying skills. The event will also feature a breathtaking aerobatic display by Emma McDonald from Matt Hall Racing, promising an adrenaline-fuelled performance that will captivate and amaze.
Saddleworth Country Markets
