The Adelaide Central Market will be offering its customers the first hour of parking for free as they trial a new simplified car parking fee structure. Basically that means it is a lot more practical and affordable for you to drive in and stock up on all of the amazingness offered at the market.
The new structure, which will provide the best value short-term parking in the city, has been created to allow for the large portion of shoppers who are in and out of the Market in under an hour to do so for free.
Adelaide Central Market Authority General Manager Aaron Brumby said the Central Market Car Park was by far the best value short-term parking in the CBD and the new incentive would make the Market even more accessible for customers.
“This is amazing news for Adelaide Central Market shoppers. Offering the first hour of parking free is a way for us to say thank you to our loyal customers and encourage even more people to come through our doors in 2016,” Mr Brumby said.
“We are committed to providing a positive customer experience and this is just one of many new initiatives we will be rolling out in the New Year.”
The first hour free parking offer will apply Tuesday to Saturday during Market trading hours. The new simplified parking tariff structure is as follows:
0-1 hours FREE
1+ hours $5 per hour (max 6+ hours)
The first free hour special will be a year-long trial until 31 December 2016.
