This spring, the Adelaide Hills Wine Region and Simon Bryant have paired together to unveil new season white wines and a range of exclusive spring canapés at an inaugural tasting event at Burnside Village on Saturday 3 November.
Former Hilton Executive Chef and passionate foodie, Simon, let the new release varietals for the season inspire his culinary talent, producing three unique canapé recipes to complement the world-class aromatic white wines of the region.
The recipes will be unveiled at the exclusive Burnside Village tasting with a live cooking demonstration from Simon to bring the complementing flavours to life.
“Spring is a wonderful time of the year with beautiful produce including cheeses, yabbies and fresh vegetables all coming into season and offering great inspiration in the kitchen,” said Simon.
“Working with world-class wines from the Adelaide Hills Wine Region to create my canapés was a fabulous journey – these white wines are beautiful; they are fresh, crisp and complement the flavours of spring immensely well.”
The opportunity to see Simon cook and to taste the seasons best wines will take place at Burnside Village Shopping Centre on Saturday 3 November from 1.00pm – 4.00pm, with the cooking demonstration at 2pm.
Visitors can take Simon’s recipes home, along with VIP offerings for their next trip to the Adelaide Hills Wine Region.
