How great are Friday drinks? After a long 5 days of work that first sip of sweet nectar washes away almost all the week’s stresses instantaneously.
Now ask yourself, how good would it be if you could have that sip without even leaving your desk? Last Friday Glam got along to the launch of DEW (Drink Eat Work) to discover how the creative folk of Adelaide will master this winning combo.
Fully stocked and ready to please
The light, bright, Hindley Street location is ideal for those independant workers who want to be amongst the thick of the action of our bustling inner city streets; this was evident immediately when walking into DEW’s opening event. The venue was crammed with the who’s who of Adelaide’s young creatives.
We took a quick tour around the bar and eating area, up the stairs to the extremely open desk spaces and out to the quaint and relaxing green courtyard… then obviously took the seats closest to the ginormous cheese platter/tower. They certainly knew how to win us over.
Seriously… is this not a thing of pure glory?
Unlike your typical stale co-working spaces, DEW is going to be a place where those who work independently can truly come together. The office area is light and spacious and office users aren’t separated from like minded peers by giant partitions, leaving workers more open to collaborate and encouraging grand ideas to flow.
We were told prior that this would be like no other co-working office space we’ve seen in Adelaide so far, and that certainly rang true. Of course with a fully operating bar and cafe just downstairs from your desk, how could it be?
We all know wine helps creativity so we’re excited to see what magic emerges from DEW’s doors over the next few months.

You could tell by the buzz emanating from the room, that passionate owners Elisa and Juan have created something special at DEW. They were excited by the vibrancy emerging in Adelaide and wanted to provide both entrepreneurs and the wider public with a space that encouraged this growth.
Desks are filling fast so if you’re an entrepreneur, want to be in an inner city location and are keen to mingle with other inspired individuals in the industry you better get a wriggle on! Desks are just $220 per month.
