Owned by Deeb Milky and Andrea Aranibar, the restaurant has transformed adversity into an opportunity for reinvention, creating a vibrant space that caters to a diverse clientele.

“We are thrilled to welcome back our patrons to a refreshed and revitalised Alchemist Kitchen experience. Our new space reflects our commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience while honouring our roots,” Deeb says.

“Our pizzas have become a favourite in the community, and we’re excited to continue serving them with the same quality and flavour that our customers love.”

Located seaside in Brighton, The Alchemists’ Kitchen is a representation of the past with a twist on the present; embodying alchemy and magic. This contemporary Italian kitchen is known for its collection of unseen wines, magical elixirs and cocktails designed to evoke your imagination.

Plus, an extensive menu featuring all-day brekkie, quick snacks and meals that are sure to impress. But, the star of the show has to be the wood-fired pizzas.

The Alchemists’ Kitchen has all your classics and is inspired by Deeb’s Lebanese heritage. A margherita with san marzano tomato base, fior di latte, parmesan and basil. Of course a classic salami, and even a fiocco potato with flaked potato, cream, the Alchemist cheese blend, rosemary and smoked salt.

Keen to try something a bit different? They have some wild and wacky flavours as well. The Samurai Pizza has scotch fillet steak, wasabi mayo, crispy capers, smoked mozzarella and pickled white onion. The citrus crustacean pizza has blue swimmer crab, prawns, sliced lemon, capsicum drop and basil.

In need of a veggie option? The truffle mushroom pizza has a san marzano tomato base, portobello, cheese blend, truffle parmesan and elk, and the pumpkin patch pizza has a pumpkin puree base, with fior di latte, candied walnuts, Bulgarian fetta and elk. Plus, gluten-free and vegan alternatives are also available.

The Alchemists’ Kitchen is only a stone’s throw away from the beach, and the rustic setting warmed by the wood fire means it is exceptionally cozy at this time of year.

At its heart is a signature 3m x 3m wood oven, now ready to bring culinary delights to life. The recently re-opened eatery exudes personality, making it the perfect spot for a family dinner or a date night outing.

So while you’re there, you might as well stop in for a cocktail or two. A timeless negroni, spicy margarita or good ole’ gin sour, could just be in order.

Is wine more your thing? The bustling atmosphere is complemented by an impressive selection of South Australia’s most celebrated wines, including offerings from Murdoch Hill, Chalkhill Wines, Somos Wines, and Hentley Farm wines.

To celebrate the re-opening, customers can choose from 11 different pizza flavours and get 20% off pickup pizza orders all of June, July and August.
