The Arkaba Hotel has joined forces with the Royal South Australian Society of Arts to offer a $10,000 art prize for young emerging artists as part of their Youthscape program.
The Royal South Australian Society of Arts launched Youthscape in 2000 and in 2018 this biennial event is being joined by a special project, the RSASA – Arkaba Youthscape $10,000 Aquisitive Award.

The RSASA – Arkaba Youthscape art prize sponsored by the Arkaba Hotel is open to all young Australian visual artists from 18-30 years old.
This exciting new award is free to enter and the winning artist’s work will be displayed for two years in the Arkaba Hotel before being auctioned off with proceeds going back to support the RSASA’s programs. The award is for a site-specific artwork of at least two pieces but the artist may have an idea for several works to sit in the stair space that is available.
