Calling all fashion fans, health and wellness enthusiasts, and lovers of anything and everything boho! By popular demand, the Boho Luxe Market is returning to Adelaide this February, bringing an incredible variety of market stalls, workshops, and healing experiences to the thriving business hub at Plant 4 Bowden.
In the backdrop of Plant 4’s indoor/outdoor space, the Boho Luxe Market offers a vast array of shopping opportunities, sound healing, cacao ceremonies, breath work sessions, psychic readings, and kids workshops across February 8 and 9.
Both days feature fashion shows exhibiting boho fashion, as well as hat burning workshops that allow participants to engrave or stitch their own designs into a hat and take it home. Market stalls will include local businesses selling their fashion, jewellery, ceramics, and hand made products.

In the large, outdoor teepee, sound healing sessions will be available with Henry Keen from Sound Ceremony, Jo from Boho Buddha, and Bianca from SoulNar Healing. Cacao ceremonies will be held by Kristy Adele and Sacred Taste, and breath work sessions with VickY from Wings of Wellbeing. Some of these sessions are free, but attendees can also book in for six hours of wellness sessions for $30, a package valued at $150.
Psychic reading rooms will also be on site, and guests can either book one in advance or pick one on the day, depending on availability.
Beyond the boho-themed activities, Plant 4 Bowden’s extensive range of eateries will all be trading on the day, and an all-day bar will also be serving up drinks.

Boho Luxe Market is the brainchild of Danielle (Dani) Djokic, a Byron Bay local whose creative flair and entrepreneurship propelled her to the creation of her market events.
She established Boho Luxe Market in 2016 with the vision of “bringing the Byron Bay vibe to Melbourne” with glamping tents, combi vans, and beautiful handmade product. The first outing, a 1-day event in Melbourne’s Federation Square, proved such a success that Dani had to move the following 3-day event to the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton, attracting 25,000 visitors.
Since then, Dani has organised markets in Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, and Sydney. The first Boho Luxe Market in Adelaide was hosted at the Showground, but due to high venue hire costs, she had to charge entry fees, so she moved the event to Plant 4 Bowden last year to avoid charging entry. Inspired by the atmosphere around Byron Bay, Dani wanted to make sure her markets were “chilled, relaxed, and full of boho dresses”.

For Dani, the best part of organising Boho Luxe Markets is supporting local brands and small businesses while curating a family-friendly outing with something for everyone to enjoy.
“It’s something I would attend and bring my own family to, and it’s nice to support the exhibitors doing it tough after COVID. It’s beautiful to see the stallholders doing really well with customers resonating with the products and purchasing from them instead of going to big shops.”
“The markets are steering in the direction of ‘new year, new you’. People can set their intentions for the year and come and enjoy the market space.”
Following the Bowden market in February, the Boho Luxe Market will hold events in Melbourne and Brisbane before coming back to Adelaide for another rodeo in October. They’ll round out the year with a market in Canberra this November.
So bring a big shopping bag and your own yoga mat to Plant 4 Bowden this February 8-9 and soak up the boho atmosphere, local traders, and wellness sessions at the Boho Luxe Market.
