The $65 million project to build the new Brickworks Shopping Centre in front of the iconic Brickworks’ chimney stack, will boost visitors to the site, as well as provide upwards of 600 new jobs.
With more than 40 specialty shops, the centre not only includes your go to’s such as Woolworths and Big W, there is also a green grocer and a lovely outdoors dining area that includes some delicious eateries such as Burger Bar and Zambreros. And you will never have to fight for a carpark again, with 700 on-grade carparks provided for patrons.
After two years of planning and with construction beginning in April last year, the centre was officially opened today by Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis, the 17,000 square metre shopping metropolis is sure to bring shoppers from all over Adelaide.
