Have you ever wanted to go to an Experimental Tap Session? Have you ever even heard of one? Well now’s your chance to try it. The Colonist are holding a pretty sweet “More Beer, More Cheer” session on the public holiday Monday 13 March from 2pm – 5pm. This will be the perfect opportunity to try their 6 brand spanking new taps first-hand and grab a free frothie thanks to Stone & Wood, Fixation and Wold of The Willows.
You’ll be invited to taste some amazing ‘one of a kind’ experimental brews made especially for you from some of the finest independent craft brewers in South Australia. Taking over the new taps are Mismatch Brewing Co., Pirate Life, Pikes Beer Company, Prancing Pony, Lobethal’s Bierhaus and Hills Cider. We’d recommend grabbing a tasting paddle to get a good taste of them all. Chuck on a canapés board and you’re set.
Beer not your thang? No worries. The Colonist’s Gin & Tonic Fever happy hour starts from 5pm – 6pm and guaranteed will have you cheering.
Brekki and Bloody Mary cocktails will also be on the menu from 10am – 4pm. Their all-day menu will take you through to 8.30pm!
The Colonist has been experimenting with the craft beer scene for over 8 years now and has always had a strong commitment to support local independents and at the same time showcase quality products. So get down there and try some of the best experimental brews that Adelaide has to offer – you won’t be disappointed!
