The Coolest Bars In The City Are Coming Together To Throw An Epic Laneway Festival

The masterminds behind Cry Baby, Hellbound, NOLA and more of Adelaide’s bars are transforming the East End block into one big party.

Let’s be real here, there is no better feeling then heading to a festival and dancing to some quality music with your mates.

In this day and age, festival tickets seem to be getting more expensive every year and bar lines are way too long. Luckily for us, our favourite bars in Adelaide’s East End are joining forces to turn the entire city block into one BIG festival.

Mark your calendar, because on Saturday 19 October the East End Block Party will be taking over its corner of the city and transforming it into a festival dedicated to live music, quality booze and good times.

Presented by Cry Baby, Hellbound, NOLA Adelaide, The Stag Public House, Yiasou George, Young Henry’s and Melt Frank Music, the festival is free of charge, but there is only space for 900 guests, so we suggest you get in early!

Running from 3pm until 12am, the festival boats a cracking line up with 11 local acts set to perform across three indoor and outdoor stages. Adelaide music gurus Pinkish Blu, Neon Tetra and Oscar the Wild are just some of the bands taking the stage, as well as a few DJs to play those party tunes well into the night.

Festival goers will also be treated to some of the best booze in Adelaide across 5 unique bars. Whether you’re feeling a refreshing beverage from the Stag’s backyard beer garden, or a simple tinnie from Young Henry’s tinnie bar, a fresh IPA from NOLA’s bar, or a perfectly shaken whisky sour, there is something for everyone.

Cry Baby and Hellbound will also be taking over the upstairs floor of The Stag to take part in a bar battle. So, expect an entertaining night filled with vinyl, neon signs and an abundance of buffalo trace bourbon and sherry.

As for food, Yiasou George will be roaming the laneways with a Yiros cart and NOLA will be serving up their famous fried chicken and Tots (YUM).

The full line up includes Pinkish Blu, Neon Tetra, Madura Green, The Empty Threats, Oscar the Wild, Superdose Gangway, Los Palms, Nathan May, Jimmybay, Aidan Jazzy Jones and PAK DJs and DJ Sam Lavers.

With an epic local line up, good booze and food, the East End Block Party is looking good and is your answer to a good night.

The East End Block Party will be held on Saturday 19th October from 3pm until 12am at the block of East Terrace, Vardon Avenue and Rundle Street.
