The national Australian Hotels Association Awards happened on Monday and South Australia took home some momentous wins, in particular, The Crafers Hotel who were honoured with the Best Overall Hotel in the country.
The beloved hotel went through some recent renovation which has brought it into the forefront of iconic Adelaide venues and gained it national recognition.
Located in the Adelaide Hills, The Crafers Hotel has a French inspired interior design that adds an element of fine dining to the classic gastropub.
Other SA hotels that won at the Gold Coast event were the Sporties Tavern in Port Pirie, for best regional bar presentation and service. Lakes Resort Hotel for the best metropolitan gaming venue. Largs Pier Hotel for best mid-range accommodation and Apothecary 1878 for the best metropolitan restaurant.
It’s no surprise that Crafers took home the big win since they were inundated with awards at the state level AHA awards winning superior hotel accommodation, bistro casual dining, redeveloped hotel, apprentice development and training and, of course, best overall hotel.
Congratulations to the locations awarded at the AHA national awards.
