Taking the place of the hugely successful Hamptons inspired, sand-filled summer bar Lucky’s Beach Club, comes Captain Moonlight’s Garden Party.

As of this Friday, November 22, The Maid Hotel, alongside local South Australian producers Ginscato, Signature Wines, and Little Bang Brewery, are introducing outdoor pop-up, Captain Moonlight’s Garden Party.

With designated areas for Ginscato, Little Bang and Resident DJ’s, Managing Director Trent Fahey says, “we want to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere where patrons can enjoy sunset sessions in lush green surrounds with great tunes and a cool drink in hand. Come evening time the garden will take on a starry moonlight garden vibe.”

The outside area, consisting of a dining deck turned dance floor and a relaxed picnic area, draws inspiration from the infamous Captain Moonlight.

Said Captain Moonlight was a Stepney resident from the 1860s, infamous for his horseback robberies, constant evasion from justice, and iconic weapon choice, a camouflaged pipe case.

Running through to mid January 2020, Captain Moonlight’s Garden Party will be accessible seven days a week accompanied with a serviced bar from 5pm Friday, 12pm Saturday and Sunday from 12pm.
