The Curious Squire, Adelaide’s very own James Squire restaurant and bar, is doing things a little different for Christmas this year switching traditions up with a classic American style Bar-B-Q feast.
Embracing the American style of Bar-B-Q cooking that The Curious Squire has brought to the table, throughout December you will be able to order smoked Bar-B-Q turkey with cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, collard greens and gravy.
The free-range smoked turkeys will also be available for pre-order for your Christmas day lunch table!
Priced at only $75 each and they can be picked up on Christmas Eve and the limited amount of bird weigh in at 6kg; feeding a family of six-eight, a first for the Adelaide market.
Curious Squire Owner Antony Tropeano said they wanted to mix things up, while still bringing the classic taste we’ve all come to love at the restaurant.
“We wanted to add something a little different to the menu for the Festive season that was still in line with the American Bar-B-Q theme, and what better addition than smoked turkey – the most common choice for a Christmas day meal in the United States!”
The Curious Squire has also imported a big Yoder smoker from America, which adds supreme flavor to the meats on some of their signature dishes, and will be utilised for the Christmas turkeys as part of their traditional American style Bar-B-Q Christmas feast.
To pair with your delicious turkey the Curious Squire also have a limited release James Squire Close Shave Summer Ale on tap.
