The Dutch Pantry in Klemzig is now impossible to miss with its new traditional Dutch inspired signage.

It was too easy to miss the dutch gem with it sitting back from the road, sandwiched between the walls of its neighbours.

Thanks to the work of the talented artist Matt, who embraced the dutch artistic style and fashioned a fantastic piece of artwork, allowing The Dutch Pantry to stand out and its heritage to be proudly displayed.

The owner, Angela Leaney, is ecstatic with the completed arched frontage and the attention-grabbing dutch heritage it displays.

“It’s everything I’ve ever dreamed about, having a Dutch heritage and Dutch parents, owning this shop,” said Angela Leaney.

First announced on 17 March, the completion of the construction has transformed the business and updated the aesthetic.

Walking under the arch is like walking through a portal straight into the Netherlands, with no plane ticket or passport required.

Take a wander through the archway and find yourself surrounded by a delicious array of traditional dutch products, from cheese to rookworst, kroketten frikandellen and many more goodies to tempt your taste buds and leave you drooling.

Plus, you can pop in from Monday through Saturday between 10 am, and 3 pm, or on Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm for some heartwarming, hot Dutch snacks.

This is the perfect way to immerse yourself in Dutch culture, even if it is only for a short while, without having to travel overseas.

Pick a pal, and meander through the archway straight into the land of the Dutch together and pick yourselves up an ooey-gooey Apple Strudel.

Just the thought of the hot Dutch snacks leaves your taste buds tingling.
