There’s not much better than wining and dining down by the beach which is probably why the Beachside Food and Wine Festival is so popular.
After first hitting the scene back in 2012, The Beachside Food and Wine Festival is back for 2022 with an array of market stalls, food, wine and live entertainment.
This free community event will take place at the Christies Beach Rotary Park on March 26th and if it’s anything like past events, it’s going to be big with thousands of people expected to gather for a fun-filled afternoon.
Each year, The Beachside Food and Wine Festival prides itself on having a strong focus on delicious, local produce, particularly from across the Fleurieu Peninsula region and this year will be no different. With 28 different mouth-watering stallholders providing local food, wine and beer there is sure to be something for everyone.
There will also be a number of market stalls selling handmade and local goods, which is the perfect way to help support the community and get yourself something nice at the same time!

And if you like making food as much as you enjoy eating it then you’re in luck with live cooking demonstrations being conducted by Sprout Cooking School. Never heard of Sprout? They’re an SA owned and run healthy cooking school that focuses on teaching people how to easily make fresh, nutritious meals and is headed by Callum Hann of Masterchef fame.
An assortment of entertainment will flow over the course of the afternoon including live music from a number of local artists and special circus and artistic performances fit for the whole family to enjoy. And as the sun begins to set and night time rolls in get ready to be wowed with an extraordinary fire twirling performance that is sure to leave you gobsmacked.

There’s a reason why this event has come back year after year so make sure you get down to see what all the fuss is about!
