Add some spice to your October long weekend with Chilli Shack!
On October 3 from 1pm, the McLaren Vale winery Lloyd Brothers will be hosting the event with a day full of food, wine and fun.
We recommend arriving hungry as there’s a delicious menu on offer. There will be chilli for all to enjoy with chilli crab, chilli pork and chilli eggplant.
If you haven’t tried chilli before, well give you the short story. It’s sweet yet savoury, slightly spicy, and super saucy!
Chilli Shack will also be plating up chicken and chorizo paella which is chilli free if you’d like a break from the spice!
The entry tickets at $49 include a dish of chilli or paella, Lloyd Brothers branded Riedel glass to keep and a glass of new release Lloyd Brothers wine.
The event is family friendly with exciting gift packs to keep the kids entertained and their bellies’ full. The $20 entry pack will include yummy snacks with a toasted sandwich, popcorn, a smiley face biscuit, Mountain Fresh juice and fruit, as well as a fun colouring pack.
Teens will also have a discounted entry of $25 which includes a Chilli Shack meal and Mountain Fresh juice.
Chilli Shack is catering for everyone with vegan, gluten free options available.
Guests will be able to cool their pallets with Lloyd Brothers wine.
Attendees will be the first to taste the winery’s 2021 Adelaide Hills Picpoul Prosecco along with their new release Estate wines from the 2021 vintage.
Lloyd Brothers is a family-owned winery and olive grove in the heart of McLaren Vale. Lloyd Brothers David and Matthew are third generation SA vignerons and starting with their grandfather who planted vines and made wine in the 1960s. The team produces wine and olives to highlight the premium fruit of Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale.
Their estate is home to a cellar door, winery and purpose-built barrel hall where the team hosts festivals, weddings and events.
The Chilli Crab event will be catered by Sprout catering with Music by Wine Country.
