The Feathers Hotel has undergone extensive changes that have brought the beloved pub to the forefront of sophisticated dining. Particularly with the launch of their new Greenhouse Restaurant.
The Greenhouse Restaurant, which also debuts a new menu and fine wine cellar, offers an impressive dining experience in a chic and elegant atrium-style space. Featuring a high ceiling, fitted out with blinds, that allow warm light in. In the evenings however, the blinds are drawn back to reveal the night sky.

Refurbishments for the Greenhouse Restaurant, Garden Bar and Lounge started in June 2018. Carlo Panozzo of Folland Panozzo Architects, Interior Designer Claire Kneebone and Matthews Hospitality Creative Director Sarah Matthews designed the new fit-out.
Adorned with lush greenery cascading from the shelves, the Garden Bar features an impressive spirit range with premium tequila being a highlight, banquet seating, warm pendant lighting, tall windows and large smoked mirrors, with contemporary Georgian highlights to finish off the opulent garden aesthetic.

Adjacent to the Greenhouse Restaurant is the Lounge – a luxe, cosy and inviting space, complete with velvet low-slung seating. It offers a signature drinks list and its very own specialised bites menu.
The exciting new menu, designed by recently appointed Executive Chef Luke Brabin, draws inspiration from the culinary experiences arising from the British Empire’s forays into Southeast Asia.
A menu that is curated for sharing, featuring influences from Singapore, China and Malay, using SA produce. Starters include a Singaporean chilli soft-shell crab, a wild mushroom salad with mizuna and salted duck egg. The mains offer a spectacular range of dishes, some of which include cumin spiced lamb cutlets, Cone Bay barramundi and an extremely tender Nonya beef cheek with toasted coconuts.

In open view of the Greenhouse restaurant is the Feather’s new fine wine cellar. Headed by Sommelier Geoff Hunt, who had previously worked with Luke at FermentAsia, and filled with a comprehensive variety of international and national wines, usually exclusive to top end dining.
The Feathers Hotel precinct is breaking boundaries with its range of dining options. From their traditional firedeck Italian pizzas in the Pavilion and gastropub meals in the Terrace, the precinct now has a spot for every diner.
The Feathers Hotel Precinct is located at 516 Glynburn Rd, Burnside SA 5066.
