The Figgery, a small South Australian family-owned business on Kangaroo Island is releasing their second new product this month for all of us to enjoy.
This Saturday 12 December at Kangaroo Island Stall 17 in the Adelaide Central Market The Figgery will unveil its brand new, and uber decadent, Sticky Fig Dressing.
Following the recent release of their new Fig Wine Vinegar, the producers of the much loved Sticky Figs and Sticky Fig Syrup are pleased to be able to offer another unique product.
Sticky Fig Dressing is a perfect blend of Sticky Fig Syrup and Genuine Fig Wine Vinegar. Combining the two unique products has resulted in a sweet but not too overpowering dressing.
The fig dressing has a delicious sharp finish that will complement a range of vegetables and meats, and it’s also gluten and preservative-free.
How did this dressing come about? Well, the owners of the Figgery love cooking and while experimenting at home with their Fig Wine Vinegar and Sticky Fig Syrup, they finally reached the perfect blend.
Their friends exclaimed, “Put it in a bottle!” And they did.
Once again, The Figgery will be teaming up with Stall 17, the Kangaroo Island Stall in the Adelaide Central Market to host an interactive Q&A tasting session. This event is open to the public and will take place between 10am – 2pm Saturday 12 December.
This will be another great opportunity for food and fig lovers to come along and meet the makers, hear their story and pick up some tips on the best ways to enjoy the new
Sticky Fig Dressing, as well as Genuine Fig Wine Vinegar, Sticky Figs and Sticky Fig Syrup.
