The Good Food & Wine Show Comes To Adelaide

decanterAustralia’s finest and most popular chefs will converge on South Australia in October this year, when they arrive for Adelaide’s inaugural Good Food & Wine Show.

Star gaze at the show’s Celebrity Theatre, as George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan, Matt Moran, Tobie Puttock and Adelaide icon, Simon Bryant showcase their favourite culinary creations and share their secrets for you to replicate.

The Good Food and Wine Show, organised by Melbourne-based events company, Diversified Exhibitions Australia, will bring its outstanding show line up to Adelaide, whilst also featuring local food and wine producers, serving up a host Australia’s finest producers in food, wine and beer.

“We are extremely excited to bring The Good Food & Wine Show to Adelaide, where South Australia’s reputation for outstanding food and wine aligns closely with the features of our show,” says Diversified Exhibitions Australia Show Director, James Laing.

“With the show already established and successful in other Australian states, it was time to grow into another market where good food is appreciated.”

Celebrity Theatre
Watch some of Australia’s leading chefs in the Celebrity Theatre as they perform new cooking trends, styles and recipes in an arena style theatre. Learn these skills and recipes so you can replicate their genius at home!

Riedel Wine Theatre

Put your palate to the test and sample some of South Australia’s and Australia’s top wines in the Riedel Wine Theatre. Australia’s leading wine sommelier’s will be on hand to provide personal advice and wine tips on how to enjoy the perfect drop. For the consummate wine lover, the Riedel Decanter Bar is the place to be seen. The bar offers 20 participants tutored wine sessions by a panel of experts, including wine guru Matt Skinner.

Cheese Matters Masterclass
If you are serious about cheese, and let’s face it, who isn’t, then head to the Cheese Matters Masterclass to learn and enjoy different variety of cheeses paired with the perfect accompaniment and wine. Learn how to assemble complimentary cheese platters offering different varieties of taste and texture.

The Good Food & Wine Show will be in Adelaide on the 8 – 10 October 2010 at the Royal Adelaide Showgrounds.
