This long weekend, there’s no better place to be than The Grove Tavern, as it invites our local SA community together for a fantastic cause.
The Big Freeze event will take place on Sunday, June 7th from 3pm until 5pm, offering locals the chance to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon while supporting the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Proudly family-owned and operated, The Grove Tavern has built its reputation on creating welcoming, community-driven experiences, and this event is no exception.
The expansive venue is absolutely perfect for an event such as this, with ample space for people to converge for a wonderful cause.
Not surprisingly, delicious food and drinks will be a big part of the Big Freeze event festivities, with enticing cocktail specials planned especially for the day. The mouthwatering menu offers an array of sharing options, including oysters, as well as filling mains, such as the pressed pork belly with orange ginger glaze, edamame, bok choy and sticky rice and chilli crab linguine.
There are also stone oven pizzas, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and plenty of kid-friendly choices too.
Every donation raised on the day will go towards supporting those affected by MND, helping fund vital research and care. It’s a powerful reminder that even small contributions can have a lasting impact when people unite.
A crowd-favourite dunk tank is sure to evoke plenty of laughs – all for the very important cause, while a live DJ will help the fantastic vibes flow throughout the afternoon.
MND merchandise can be purchased and sported on the spot, offering more ways to get involved and show support for the cause. Perhaps particularly for those who aren’t too keen on being submerged in icy water.
