Self-isolating with children can be challenging, but we’ve just discovered something that might help keep them entertained. For one day. Okay, maybe half.

The Hahndorf Farm Barn is a popular activity for families. An impressive array of animals live at the farm, including ponies, kangaroos, rabbits, deer, emus and reptiles to name a few.

Visitors are able to hold, feed and touch most of the animals under the careful guidance of their keepers. You may even be able to milk a cow or bottle feed baby lambs!

In light of social distancing precautions, the Farm Barn is still open to visitors, but by appointment only.

They are taking bookings for groups of people from the same household, which will ensure that visits to the farm are kept within social distancing guidelines.

To make a booking for your family, call 8388 72 89 or get in touch via Facebook or Instagram.

Unable to visit in person? The Farm Barn’s Facebook page features livestreams with various animals and their keepers as part of a #togetherathome program.
