Ghost Crime Tours is led by two paranormal investigators, Darren Bacchus and David Hogg. Darren has served in the military and now runs his own private security business, while David is a historian and paranormal investigator. Both men have a keen interest in paranormal history and phenomena, and have studied demonology with Bishop James Long (D.Min), the Archbishop for the United States Old Catholic Church.
The duo have a long track record of paranormal investigations, covering a number of haunted locations across Adelaide. While North Kapunda Hotel is one of the most well-known, they have conducted investigations at the Old Adelaide Gaol, Port Adelaide, several areas of the River Torrens, and several psychiatric and insane asylums.
