The Haus in Hahndorf launches gin nights feat. copious amounts of Coffin Bay oysters

The Coffin Bay Oysters will be freshly harvested the day before, then delivered to The Haus and shucked fresh to order.

There’s now so many local producers of gin that it can almost seem overwhelming when deciding which one to try.

Well The Haus in Hahndorf is making it a little bit easier for you by showcasing a local distiller every Friday night, and oh did we mention there’s oysters?

The Coffin Bay Oysters will be freshly harvested on Thursday and brought to the Haus Friday morning, to be freshly shucked to order by a professional Oyster Shucker in the middle of the restaurant.

Oysters are $2.50 each and you can chose from, natural – served with lemon, Kilpatrick Wakame with Japanese seaweed salad and the very fitting Gin with cucumber, lime, sugar and of course Gin.

Friday the 9 April Adelaide Hills Distillery will be stopping by to showcase their award winning gin.

Other distilleries involved include Never Never Distilling Co. and Kangaroo Island Spirits with more to be announced soon.

Oysters + Gin will run every Friday Night from 5:30pm-8:30pm at the Haus.
