Elton John | 4 & 5 Dec
One of the finest musicians of all time, Sir Elton John is returning for his 16th performance in Adelaide. Having first performed in Adelaide on Oct 22, 1971 at the Memorial Drive Tennis Club, John will perform his last ever Australian and New Zealand shows as part of the worldwide Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.

Santa’s Wonderland | 6 Dec – 24 Dec
With its stunning décor, pageantry and myriad of activities throughout the Ice Wonderland, Candyland and Traditional Family Christmas Wonderland zones, this is a feast for your senses.
In this, its fourth year of creating memories for families, Santa’s Wonderland is set to delight and amaze with a return of all the favourites plus a host of new activities and surprises.
Santa’s Wonderland boasts over thirty-five sessions to choose from throughout its run from December 6 to December 24.

As it heads into its seventh year, one of Melbourne’s favourite one-day festivals, One Electric Day, is going national and it’s coming to Seppeltsfield, Barossa on December 7.

Hot Dub Wine Machine | 7 Dec
Hot Dub Wine Machine is returning this year in McLaren Vale on the 7 of December. A day of full-bodied wine, music and food, Serafino Wines picturesque backdrop will play host to the event featuring some of Australia’s well established and up and coming bands.
The line up this year includes The Jungle Giants, Crooked Colours, Bag Raiders and Hot Dub Time Machine. Tickets are on sale now.

Polo in the City | 13 Dec
Having become one of Adelaide’s highly anticipated events of Summer, Polo in the City is set to return, featuring some of the finest Polo players from both Australia and abroad.
Booked for the 13 of December at Victoria Park, ally to the on field action The Maui Polo Club is putting on a shaded service bar, communal seating, shade umbrellas all encompassing a delightful viewing area. Waikiki Polo Lounge will also provide ticket goers with opportunities to meet and greet players on top of food and beverage facilities and live music. Grab your tickets here.

Hahndorf Christmas Markets | 13 – 15 Dec

Gincident | 14 Dec
An event that all stemmed from a few too many Gins, Gincident kicks off on the 14 of December showcasing some of the best produced gins from South Australia and beyond.
In celebration of the rise of gin popularity across South Australia, Gincident welcomes all to Hart’s Mill in Port Adelaide for an outing of live music, games, stalls and amazing food. Liam Gallagher | 14 Dec
Once voted by the readers of Q Magazine as the “greatest front man of all time”, living legend Liam Gallagher will make his debut at the Bird In Hand Winery in December as he celebrates the release of his massively anticipated second solo record, Why Me, Why Not?

Love Actually in Concert | 14 Dec
Following sold out tours of the UK, Love Actually in Concert is finally making its way to Australia, premiering, of course, just before Christmas in December. A full, live orchestra will perform the hit soundtrack whilst the film is projected onto the big screen.

Billy Elliot The Musical | 29 Dec
The 10th Anniversary Australian Tour will open in Adelaide on December 29 at the Festival Theatre, Adelaide Festival Centre making it the second stop of the national tour.
Billy Elliot the Musical was brought to the stage by the multiple award-winning creative team behind the film including writer Lee Hall (book and lyrics), director Stephen Daldry and choreographer Peter Darling, joined by Elton John who composed the show’s score. Grab your tickets here.
