Everybody loves a pub meal, and there’s no reason anyone should have to miss out, which is exactly why The HWY have launched a brand-new vegan menu.
With veganism on the rise in popularity, for whatever those choosing to take up the lifestyle, venues across the globe are catering to their needs with the rollout of epic looking menu’s that aren’t just boring salads or dishes that simply remove the meat component.
The HWY’s own chef, Chris Esson, has personally crafted their new vegan menu, with dishes that replicate some good old pub grub and others that take a unique twist to have your mouth-watering and begging for more.
The selection of vegan dishes now on offer at The HWY allow for a start to finish three course selection so you can go from entree through to dessert (if you can even fit it in). Here’s what you can expect.
Spiced Beetroot Arancini – basil and walnut pesto, parmesan
Crispy Noodles – red cabbage, chilli, herbs, carrot, onion, noodles, soy and lime dressing
Roasted Pumpkin – harrisa roasted pumpkin, brown rice, cabbage, carrot, avocado, baby spinach, dukkah, cucumber yoghurt (GF Option without yoghurt)
Vegan Chicken Orecchiette – plant based chicken strips, lentils, king brown mushrooms, tomato, baby spinach, cashew parmesan
Salt and Pepper Tofu – chopped salad, lime mayo, chips
Vegan Chocolate Brownie – chocolate mousse, crumble, rich chocolate brownie, honeycomb
