Luckily for South Australians, this month saw two bucket list events, which have to been see to be believed. Van Gogh Alive in North Adelaide is one of the incredible exhibitions that is worth checking out, and Light Cycles, which is now sold out a part of the Illuminate festival, is another. Both have had their seasons extended due to high demand, so if you have the chance to get along to see them, we’d absolutely recommend both. And no, we weren’t paid to say that.

Light Cycles is being held in the Adelaide Botanic Garden, and has had young families, retirees, groups of friends, and many more people, all raving about the experience. It’s truely an experience for everyone (which is rare).

The company behind the exhibition, Montreal-based multimedia studio Moment Factory, have crafted a world-leading reputation for blending light, technology and feeling to reinvent iconic locations and unshackle imaginations.

Their installations and experiences have enchanted audiences from New York to Tokyo, and they’ve created mesmerising stage shows for artists like Madonna, Jay-Z, Muse, Ed Sheeran and Billie Eilish. Now, their Light Cycles exhibition is wowing Adelaide, after turning one of our most beloved green spaces into a wondrous forest.

While the event is now sold out, you can still experience the amazing photographs right here because they are truly something to knock your socks off.
