Glenelg’s popular Jetty Bar has dawned a new cocktail list, which is the latest in a string of updates indicative of a rebrand for the pub.
The Jetty Bar has new management, a fresh fit out––with vibrantly painted walls depicting tropical scenes and new colorful furniture––and a new cocktail list. The varied list has options for everyone, from the usual suspects to fruity concoctions to engage a younger crowd, a possible result of the ongoing rebrand.
The new drinks menu includes classics, such as a Maker’s Mark old fashioned, a whiskey sour, and an Aperol spritz, and sugary, signature additions. There is a “pornstar” cocktail with vodka, vanilla syrup, and passionfruit pulp, a filthy martini with Four Pillars olive gin, dry, vermouth and olive brine, and a strawberry daiquiri.
The pub also has DJs and live music Friday through Sunday.
Situated beachside of Jetty Road, the pub has been operating since 1869 and is known for its night scene, pub food, and affordable drinks. Now, with a fresh look and new cocktails, the Jetty Bar may become a cocktail hotspot.
