Former Triple J icons and now proud Nova 919 co-hosts, Ben and Liam, were joined this morning by South Australia’s own international superstar singer, The Kid LAROI, over Zoom from LA, and he had a lot to say about one of Adelaide’s restaurants.
Fast forward fro their first interview together some three years ago, to 8 billion streams and some impressive collaborations (Miley Cyrus, we’re looking at you), and The Kid LAROI is making some pretty bold claims about South Australian food offerings, in particular Glenelg’s North Indian Cuisine.
Dubbing it the world’s best Indian food, The Kid LAROI might just be onto something with an extensive history of travel, he has to of tried a number of Indian dishes giving some credibility to this statement about the Jetty Road restaurant.
As if we needed another reason to celebrate Adelaide’s food venues, The Kid LAROI’s praise on North Indian Cuisine is the perfect excuse to support the Adelaide business who serve up all types of Indian curries from staples like butter chicken right through to beef vindaloo, lamb korma as well as vegan options with mixed vegetables.
The Jetty Road restaurant has long been a Glenelg hotspot, often seeing lines out the door of hungry patrons wanting their own plate of goodness, but delicious food aside, the people behind North Indian Cuisine have hearts of gold.
Following the initial outbreak of the global pandemic, North Indian Cuisine took to Facebook with a post to all international students, reaching out and offering free meals to those who lost their jobs.
