The Kitchen at Bec Hardy shines once again, earning two hats from the Australian Good Food Guide this year—not only retaining its fantastic score from last year but improving upon it.
With scores ranging from 12 to 19 hats, 70 South Australian dining destinations ranked among the top 1 per cent of restaurants nationwide. The Kitchen at Bec Hardy secured one of these prestigious spots, ranking among South Australia’s top venues and one of only 10 recognised in McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Peninsula.
In 2024, Bec Hardy received an impressive score of 14, but this year, the venue raised the bar, earning two hats with a score of 15—the only venue in South Australia to achieve this rating. Bec Hardy was also ranked the seventh-best venue in South Australia and the top venue for elevated casual dining. This elevated casual dining style really stands out in their Feed Me menu that’s served Friday to Sunday and grazing platters are available to enjoy daily!
“We’re thrilled to receive two hats from the Australian Good Food Guide. It’s a reflection of our team’s hard work and commitment. We invite guests to experience our Feed Me offering, where great food and wine come together in a truly memorable way,” shared Bec Hardy.

Leading the team at The Kitchen at Bec Hardy is Connor Bishop.

Dishes that showcase the best of hyper-local produce with skill and flair, and this year’s award, are proof of the team’s dedication. Calling Connor ‘one to watch’ this season almost doesn’t do him enough justice considering he and his team, are already setting the standard.”
