“The Life and Music of STEVIE WRIGHT and THE EASYBEATS” takes the audience through the highs of legendary rocker Stevie Wright being our first international superstar with Australia’s biggest band of the era, The Easybeats.
After the highs, came the lows of drug and alcohol addiction and the controversial treatment at the notorious Chelmsford Hospital.
Featuring a mind blowing band and with SCOTT McRAE up front in an electrifying performance, this is a stage musical that has audiences out of their seats from the very first note. This highly acclaimed production features never before seen footage of past mates, fellow musicians and even some old girlfriends! Archival footage and imagery sets the scene and takes you back to those heady days as Scott and the band roll through 18 hits songs including ‘Friday on my Mind’, ‘Evie’, ‘She’s So Fine’ and many many more.
The theatrical masterpiece is now in its third touring year as 2014 celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Easybeats.
SCOTT McRAE is one of Australia’s most multi-talented performers. Scott has a long career covering all forms of entertainment – he’s a well known and sought after TV presenter, producer, TV/film/stage actor, singer, voiceover artist and MC.
