Harry Potter fans, it’s time to get your singing voices on – The Magical Music of Harry Potter is coming to Adelaide in 2022.
On Thursday May 12, the show will be coming the Adelaide Festival Centre for a one-of-a-kind film and music experience.
The full orchestral concert experience is a unique and enchanting evening where original actors, star soloists, a choir and an orchestra bring the movies to Adelaide.
The wizarding world will be brought to live over the two hour show where fans will get to listen to the iconic music highlights from all eight of the Harry Potter movies and the stage show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
The program includes soundtracks by four-time Oscar winner John Williams who composed the music for the first three Harry Potter Movies including “Hedwig’s Theme” and “Mr. Longbottom Flies”.
Also set to be performed is music highlights from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, composed by Golden Globe winner Alexander Desplat.
The spooky sounds of ‘Lily’s Theme’ are expected to ring out on the night while songs composed by Nicholas Hooper and Patrick Doyle will play.
Patrick composed “The Quidditch World Cup” and “Potter Waltz” for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, while Nicholas created music for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The evening becomes truly spellbinding with illusions from Rob Lake, one of the world’s leading magicians, featured on “America’s Got Talent” and Disney’s Cruise Line.
The show is currently touring Europe and the UK, with the actor Chris Rankin who plays Percy Weasley joining the tour. We hope the star will make an appearance at the Adelaide show too, for an even more magical night.
There will be light, sound and laser displays throughout the evening making the mystical enchanting show an experience for all your sensed to enjoy.
The Harry Potter films are one of the most iconic and successful films in the history of cinema, and they will be brought back to life in Adelaide for fans to see and hear.
Tickets for The Magical Music of Harry Potter are on sale for $79.90 to $119.90.
