The Mile End is putting Australian ingredients at the forefront this month

The Mile End Hotel are making heroes of our Native Australian bush ingredients across a range of food and drink specials for the month of August.

The Mile End Hotel is celebrating local Australian produce for the month of August in what they’re rightfully calling, ‘Australiana August’.

For the month of August, the beloved pub will be appreciating and recognising the incredible produce Australia has to offer.

You can expect a beautiful array of local seafood and meat, to dishes that incorporate native seeds and plants; all showcasing the outstanding flavours of the Australian bush.

The dishes have been beautifully crafted by the creative minds at The Mile End hotel.

Let your taste buds run wild with ingredients such as saltbush, bunya nut, wattle seed and more.

Try the pepperberry red kangaroo fillet served with kipfler potatoes, wild thyme jus lie, charred broccolini & davidson plum chutney.

Or give the beautiful sounding bunya nut & saltbush 6″ garlic pizza drizzled with bubblegum basil oil a taste.

For the sweet tooths the Mile End are serving up a strawberry gum & vanilla bean parfait accompanied with a macadamia crumble, macerated strawberries and a strawberry malted wattle seed crisp.

Throughout the month there will be a range of Australian gins, beers and spirits available to compliment the incredible menu.

There is brand new Australiana themed cocktail list too!

Sip on the Geraldton Wax Mojito, Lemon Myrtle Gin Fizz, Muntrie Whiskey Sour or indulge in a Wattle Seed Espresso Martini, all for only $13 a pop.

The Australiana August menu will be available daily from noon.
