A new gym has opened up in Kent Town, and it’s not only got a pretty schmick fit-out – it also has its own cafe, serving up coffees from one of Adelaide’s up-and-coming local roasters.
Situated on Kent Town’s King William Street, V2Fit is the second gym for owner Dan Peters – he opened the first V2Fit on South Road in St Marys five years ago.
Both gyms specialise in group training with two classes on offer – one focussed on strength and conditioning and one which Dan calls, “more of a sweat-fest”.
They’ve spent two months fitting out the new space with the signature V2 Fit look, and some beautiful shower and change-room facilities which are handy if you train on your way to work.
And because coffee is always a good idea, V2 Fit Kent Town also has its own coffee spot, right at the front (you can walk through the cafe to get straight to the gym floor).
The cafe is run by Pete Mann, who launched local roasters Octeine Coffee.
It’s the first cafe for Pete, who scoured the world for the best coffee beans and roasts them himself in Hindmarsh.
As well as his coffee, the cafe also serves up smoothies and healthy bites, and it’s open to the public, so you don’t need to be a member the gym to swing past.
If you’re keen to check out the gym, they’re offering a free week trial for newcomers. For more, check out v2fit.com.au.
