Italy has made its way to Port Adelaide with Portofino Ristorante

Now open in Port Adelaide Plaza, the Italian eatery is serving up wood-fired pizza, pasta and giant schnitzels in all-day dining.

Portofino Ristorante Café has encapsulated this feeling, delivering not only mouth-watering food from the European utopia but also an environment that creates a relaxed and intimate dining atmosphere for a memorable experience.

Perfect for espressos in the morning, cannoli in the afternoon and Bolognese in the evening, Portofino’s extensive menu offers not just the authentic Italian fair you know and love but a wide range of meals with seafood, risotto, steak and burgers all getting their very own dedicated section on the menu.

“We’ve purposely created a large, varied menu to cater for every taste,” says manager Leti Hassan. “We want anyone and everyone that comes here to find something for them and leave happy and full.”

And for those that like a challenge, why not attempt one of Portofino’s giant schnitty’s? With 28 different toppings to choose from, these monster schnitzels aren’t for the faint-hearted (or stomached).

“They’re pretty big,” laughs Leti. “You’d definitely want to be a big eater to attempt it but I guess that’s half the fun!”

Located in Port Adelaide Plaza, Portofino’s has been freshly renovated to reveal a slick, minimalistic interior that creates an inviting place to dine at any time of day.

Port Adelaide Plaza is fast becoming a foodie’s paradise but there is one thing Portofino offers that no one else in the plaza does – pizza. Portofino’s wood-fired oven now provides a delicious range of traditional pizzas and calzones and even offers gluten-free bases if need be.
