The Organic and Sustainable Market will be having its last day at its Bowden location on Saturday the 25th July. The market will be moving to the new location of Foodland at Frewville on Sunday mornings.
It will be owned and operated by The Chapley Retail Group with help from the youth from Youthinc. The new market will be open in about a month, with the dates to be released as soon as possible.
The old market owners are urging the community to get to the new markets and support the new owners and the youth and show them how people and community can come together and create miracles.
The market will not only continue to promote organic produce, but also the idea that homeless youth can be employed, mentored and educated in order to help them.
With the success of the market in Bowden and the positive influence that it had on the community, that is only sure to continue when the market begins in the new location. With a positive message and a real sense of community – it can only flourish.
Keep your eye out for the starting dates of the new market!
