The Peninsula Hotel, located on the picturesque Le Fevre Peninsula in South Australia, is set to launch its highly anticipated new accommodation wing next month.
The addition of this stylish accommodation is aimed at providing a convenient and modern stay for both local defence industries and leisure travellers seeking a weekend escape near the beautiful local beaches.
The new accommodation wing features 24 Deluxe King Rooms and a Two-Bedroom Suite, all boasting a captivating mid-century styling. Guests will enjoy the comfort of ensuite bathrooms, Wi-Fi access, and a range of modern amenities. Whether for short or long-term stays, visitors will have access to a 60s-styled heated outdoor pool, a fully equipped on-site gym, convenient laundry facility and the adjoining hotel, complete with dining areas, bars, meeting space and bottle shop.

The Peninsula Hotel itself holds a special place in the heart of the community. Previously known as the Boathouse Tavern, it was acquired by the Dean Group of Hotels in late 2019 and underwent an extensive rebranding and renovation process. Since its reopening, the venue has garnered a number of accolades, including the prestigious National Australian Hotel Associations award for Best Bar Presentation and Experience in 2022.
Coinciding with the launch of new accommodation offering, the Peninsula Hotel is also throwing a second birthday weekend celebration bash from Friday June 30 – Sunday July 2 to thank all their great supporters and patrons. They’re going all out with three days of entertainment, drink & food specials.
The celebrations will kick off on Friday, June 30 with a free Hill Valley Show providing its musical stylings in the Live Lounge from 8pm. Saturday will see DJ Jimmy Flamingo on the decks in the picturesque courtyard from 7 pm with $6 Pints, Spirits & 2 for $20 Cocktails.
The birthday celebrations promise to end with a bang as local blues, rock and folk artist Billy Bob Rankine takes to the courtyard stage from 1pm – 4pm on Sunday, including stalls with complimentary tastings and specials, by South Ave Seltzer, Big Shed Brewing, Sidewood Estate Wines.
The Peninsula Hotel’s expansion further contributes to the area’s prosperity, providing a new accommodation offering, entertainment options, diverse dining experiences, and creating job opportunities.
