Are you looking for a funky, Melbourne-esque venue in the heart of Adelaide? A restaurant with plenty of space, delicious food and somewhere that makes a mean Aperol Spritz? Well, Melt Pizzeria gets a double thumbs up from us.
We love that hidden up a flight of stairs at this joint there’s actually this great, big spacious dining room that’s flooded with light. The area is super inviting and if you’ve dined there know it’s great for groups of any size. The dark charcoal walls, industrial lighting and huge mural splashed across one wallgives it that funky Melbourne feel and adds a bit of edge to the place.
It’s also in a really convenient spot for those us of often looking somewhere to take clients, offsite days or planning knock off drinks. There’s no need to worry about transport or organising a lift out of the city to get some excellent tapas and pizza.
In terms of food, this is one of our favourite pizzerias in Adelaide. We recommend getting a couple of dishes to share, so you can have a taste of as much of the delicious offering as possible. If you don’t know what you or you want them to surprise you, the restaurant offers delicious share platters of varying prices, which include a selection of tapas, pizzas and salads. Our personal favourites – The scallop pizza with scallops, truffle, mozzarella and peas, and the Puancho pizza with roasted pumpkin, onion, mozzarella and anchovies.
With the ability to cater from two to one hundred people, for whatever function your heart desires – whether a corporate meeting, offsite day or birthday dinner – this is one place you don’t want to forget about.
