Situated against the backdrop of Lochiel’s iconic pink lake, The Pink Lake Tiny House has revealed its new gem – ‘Dandelion’. Serving as the sibling to the already popular ‘Sakura’ and ‘Peony’ tiny houses, ‘Dandelion’ promises guests an unforgettable experience of tranquility and luxury, just a 95-minute drive north from Adelaide.
Upon stepping into ‘Dandelion’, guests are welcomed by a breathtaking panoramic view of the pink lake, Lake Bumbunga. The living room encourages visitors to unwind and immerse themselves in the surrounding beauty, while the expansive patio deck offers plenty of space to bask in the lake’s glory. For those seeking the perfect photo opportunity of Lake Bumbunga, sunrise and sunset are the recommended times, as its colour is constantly changing.

‘Dandelion’ provides guests with everything they need for a comfortable stay, featuring a full-sized bedroom with a king bed that can convert into two singles, along with blackout curtains and ample storage. The bathroom includes a spacious shower with both rain and hand-held options, a modern toilet, and a sleek vanity unit with a large mirror.

In the kitchen, there’s a generous sized table for six people, a full-sized fridge-freezer, kettle, electric hotplate, toaster, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and double sink. Plus, ‘Dandelion’ is the only tiny house with a brand-new smart TV! The living area has a sofa bed for extra guests, and there’s convenient parking right beside the house. The home is ideal for those seeking accessible, one-level living.
Stretching an impressive 11 meters in length, the tiny home is bigger than your average tiny house, offering plenty of space that amplifies the essence of open living.

If you’re looking to venture outside of the tiny home, there is plenty to do nearby. The renowned food and wine region of the Clare Valley is just a 35-minute drive away, while a slightly longer 50-minute journey will take you to the coastal towns of Wallaroo or Moonta Bay. For added convenience, the Pink Lake Tiny House team can arrange for a private charter, of an 8S Mercedes Benz vehicle.
Besides the beautiful new ‘Dandelion’ tiny house, the Pink Lake Tiny House have two other tiny homes located on site that have been incredibly popular since their launch called ‘Sakura’ and ‘Peony’.
‘Sakura’ is the original tiny house and has two loft bedrooms with quality Japanese futons, one with a skylight for stargazing, games and karaoke. Themed with Japanese décor, the tiny home is equipped with a kitchen, living area, and a bathroom.
The largest tiny house ‘Peony’ is filled with modern Asian décor and has a queen bed in one bedroom, and a second loft-style bedroom with two Japanese futons. ‘Peony’ also features a projector for watching movies and bluetooth microphones for karaoke.

Alternatively, the Pink Lake Tiny House offer another, unique accommodation option – their new glamping tents. The tents allow guests to simply drive up to Lochiel, and all they need is already there. With fire-ban season now over, the campfire and fire-pits are available for use by the tiny house or the glamping tents for guests to sit around and view the stars while cooking some marshmallows.
The newest addition to the Pink Lake Tiny House family ‘Dandelion’ is the epitome of luxury living in a tiny house retreat, and promises an unforgettable experience for all who wander through its doors. Whether you are seeking a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or simply some time away from the city, look no further than ‘Dandelion’.
